I started painting "seriously" in 2016, once my youngest child had started school.
I work mostly in oil, in my studio. I usually work from reference photographs that I take myself - rarely from just one, then I can take the bits I like from each.
I typically produce around nine full-size oil paintings in a year, but also produce smaller paintings, and miniatures, which I think makes original oil paintings more accessible to a smaller budget.
